Dear Ami,
When you were at the Greater Hartford Quilt Guild Annual Meeting, you met my neighbor, Robin, at your Friday workshop. She was the girl who referred to quilts as Blankets, and the whole group tried to teach her to say "quilt". I had told her she wouldn't get one until she learned to call them quilts, and thought she would never learn, but everyone from that class told me she finally "got it".

I took your Sunday workshop, and made her a quilt, that I have named "Robin's Blanke." I had it machine quilted by Jan Bridge of Lebanon, NH, and am attaching a picture I took of it, before I gave it to Robin. She was thrilled, surprised, and thinks the pattern is beautiful, so I didn't tell her that you had given us so many tricks to make it a very easy quilt to make.

We are still getting comments from the other chapter members about how much fun they had at Annual Meeting, and especially how much they loved your lecture and workshops. I hope you will be able to come again some time.
